On November 26, 1942, hundreds of Norwegian Jews were rounded up by the police and taken to the harbour in Oslo, where, together with detainees from a prison camp, they were piled onto a German cargo ship, the Danube. A total of 302 men, 188 women and 42 children left for Germany, final destination Auschwitz, including the Braude family. Based on the true story about the Braude family, an ordinary Norwegian family whose fate is sealed by the fact that they are Jews

ERIK SVENSON / EIRIK SVENSSON
After initial studies at Lillehammer University College (LUC), Erik Svensson graduated as a director at the Norwegian Film School in 2010. During his years at LUC he participated in an exchange program to STADIA Polytechnic in Finland, where he met Jyrki Väisänen, with whom he co-wrote and directed the short Life Worth Living. He has directed four feature films: Must Have Been Love, One Night in Oslo, Harajuku and Betrayed.
