ARGIRIS PAPADIMITROPULOS / ARGYRIS PAPADIMITROPOULOS
Argyris Papadimitropoulos (born 1976 in Athens) is a Greek producer and director. He attended film courses in Athens and Oxford. After directing two multi-awarded shorts Pendulum (2003) and Tender (2004), Papadimitropoulos directed the film Bank Bang in 2008. He went on to become the youngest Greek filmmaker to direct a box-office feature hit with rave reviews. His second film Wasted Youth (2011) co-directed by Jan Vogel was also successful with both national and international audiences. Suntan is his third feature film. It premiered at the 2016 Rotterdam International Film Festival.
