ŠARLEN FAVIJE / Charlene Favier
After spending her childhood in France and several years abroad, Charlène Favier founded her own company, Charlie Bus Production, at the age of 24. She trained in acting at the Jacques Le Coq School in London, in directing at the Astoria Studio in New York, and in writing at the FEMIS script workshop, from which she graduated in 2015. At the same time, she wrote, directed, and produced several short films and documentaries. Slalom (2020) is her first feature film.
Charlène Favier’s debut is a familiar story of sexual abuse, but it snaps across your face like a blast of cold mountain air.
David Ehrlich, IndieWire

Jordan Mintzer, The Hollywood Reporter
